Default what's up with poly standard full availability march?

i got in on a walk late february, since then i've noted that march seven months out remains wide open.

other popular resorts remain tight, very hard to even get in at seven months.

as i look out through may, standard poly remains wide open.

I noticed as well. I booked a trip 2nd week of March at OKW because it fit our remaining points, but with Poly still available I may need to find a way to borrow or One Time UP to get into Poly.

Bay Lake Lake View as well....fully available still for my week.

MK resorts - good for people with the very young. IMO, if looking for a MK resort people grab CC/BV or GF.

There are a lot more studios at BLT & the Poly than at either CCV, BRV & VGF. And we don't know how many are available, just that at least ONE is available.

There are a lot of small contract PVB owners, which then requires bank and borrow to stay more than 2-3 nights, thereby limiting their stays to every few years. I also think there are PVB owners opting to stay at BCV, BWV for SWGE on upcoming stays. We are PVB owners, but will book other DVC resorts for variety if we have already stayed there a week+ and have other 4 day+ trips back to back in consecutive months.

Dang, if that were the case for my 1/27 - 2/5 stay, I might have stayed at PVB over DRR. Everything was booked before the 7 month window opened.

Then again, I just realized that I don't want to take the monorail to Epcot for the next couple of years until they finish the new entrance and most of the construction walls come down. It will be *really* nice coming in the International Gateway next year!

There's no comparison of the number of studios at PVB to other resorts. I'd guess that SSR, AKV and probably OKW have studio availability too? Maybe BWV P/G view? Spring is high point time and no where near as popular of time for DVC as cheap point times. I guess what I'm saying is it isn't unusual to see the PVB standard view availability in the spring to last past the 7 month window. It will eventually go though.

Too nice. We may have to post guards. Or at least make the gondoliers* use their own separate entrance.

*We have to call them something. I'm open to suggestions.

I think there is good availability because those dates represent poor value -

Magic Season in the point chart and significantly more expensive when compared to Oct-Nov Choice Season & Dec, Jan-Feb Adventure/Dream Seasons.
