Default No DVC member Galaxy’s Edge preview

At this point, only platinum and above AP is planned.

Confirmed with 2 solid contacts.

I agree that they really should include DVC members on the StarWars preview.

I was in DL at the DL hotel last month and we able to experience StarWars land (got in as I was a hotel guest) and it was extremely well done. Olgas cantina was the most challenging to get in due to high demand and limited spots. The blue milk was awesome, but not as good as butterbeer

This really burns my chaps. I'm a Gold AP holder and a DVC member (2 contracts directly purchased) and I'm going to be there the week before it opens and there is no preview for me.

I have a trip scheduled for early January after my APs expire and I'm really thinking it's time for a break.

I wish Disney would pamper us a little more. I mean, a DVC membership is a very long commitment to Disney, and we honor it pretty well. I wonder what is the logic behind not giving DVC members a preview for Galaxy's Edge?

I am not sure why people are surprised...

They have our money! They know we are coming. No need to court us.

If this is true, it's a bummer, but I'm not sure why DVC members feel like we're being give the shaft. Aren't these Moonlight Magic nights fairly new (like in the last couple of years)? Those are huge perks if you can plan around them and were never available the first 10-11 years of our membership.

Yeah, they can be tough to get, but it's not like any SWGE preview was ever going to be a cakewalk for every member, either.

Also the 10% dining and 20% shopping discounts that are nearly universal right now. Shopping used to be less, if it all, and dining used to be primarily for lunch.

It sucks that we aren't being included in this but I don't see it as an example of "Disney doesn't care" or is "shafting DVC members." I still think there are operations concerns, as well.

I'm totally not surprised ... just annoyed.

Will your feelings change if bloggers have another special invite to wander around an empty MF? Considering they have zero monetary / loyalty in comparison to a DVC Member. I have much more respect for DVC opinion

If they have the capacity to offer DVC previews and don't, then I would be peeved.

Right now, though, I'm of the opinion that DVC members get more than AP holders (as it should be, IMO) give that discounts are matched and we get Moonlight Magic nights.

I'm surprised they aren't including guests staying with cash resos at deluxe resorts in the group. They'd sell out those hotels in 15 minutes.
