We have had good luck with Dollar, and horrible service with Hertz.

What about using the Disney Car Care Centre onsite? We are picking up a car on our second day and will use it for a week or so, before relying on the onsite WDW transport. We then can have a smaller car as we don't need to worry about the luggage fitting in the car. I think it is predominantly Alamo. They also pick you up to take you there and drop you off to a park or hotel (onsite) afterwards.

Thanks for the responses everyone.
I was thinking more along the lines of having a car only for the portion of the trip where we expect to be offsite, plus we might be at the swolphin which is an extra $11 parking fee PER NIGHT So picking up mid-trip is the likely scenario. I guess maybe I could sneak onto a magical express bus and pick a car up at the airport if that's the cheap way to goQuote:
