If they are selling their contracts, I would recommend Redweek.com. For renting their points I would also recommend Redweek.com and Tugbbs.com

There is another DVC site that was bought out by a very knowledgeable DVC owner and HGVC owner that will always answer questions about bothtimeshare/ points questions. I recently attended a HGVC presentation and he explained a lot before & after presentation. I guess you could “ google” for help.
I think Redweeksite also has legal answers for all types of timeshare questions. Very good source for your friend

We were able to rent out our HGVC week directly through the resort. In fact, they rented it the morning it was supposed to start. We got paid a few weeks later from HGVC after we provided a W-9 form.

One thing your friend may (or should) know - assuming that by "selling points" you mean "renting," this is against HGVC rules in all but a special case. Doesn't stop people, but someone doing it should know.

If you do mean "selling the actual contract," then never mind

The HGVC forum is quite excellent.

What resort was this at and how long ago did you do this? I don't know of any HGVC developed resort that has a rental program. The affiliates I do not have much experience with. Thanks
