From what I've read, when they built the addition there, that wing where the DVC rooms are has other regular hotel rooms, but those were supposedly designed or had the infrastructure to be able to convert to DVC villas pretty easily. Too bad they don't seem to be interested in expanding the DVC options at DLR, either with these rooms (if true) or at DLH, esp given the recent renovation there. |

There's also no doubt there has been a conflict between the DVC side and the hotel side of Disney as they are separate divisions and anything that one would want to do that would affect the other, like converting those rooms, would have to be negotiated at a higher level. Finally, there has been talk about adding a tower at DLH which w/b DVC. There IS room there. There's also room behind the PPH where ther is an CM parking lot. I never could understand why they haven't built more multi level parking structures to free up some of that space. maybe a zoning issue, but they did build the huge structure for guests just a few years ago, so maybe not. |

VGF may be an exception also because of the small size. But all the other options for points will tend to drive prices down on reslae market IMO.
