Never say never.....Look at where you are now compared to five years ago.
We actually have been discussing going with the boys, but not on a Disney cruise. Too much $$ for the 4 of us.

Just be fore warned.....Don't take the boys on a DCL cruise, then on any other cruise......You will be disappointed.

The newer cruise ships of the other lines are so much improved over the past 10 years. Don't book an older cruise ship.

Any chance you remember what category stateroom that is on the Magic with the extended verandahs?

Does this help? I haven't been able to absorb the category levels.

Oh well....
Congrats on your Gold status! I will be there after a cruise both in May and October. I nearly did back to back 3-night cruises in October just so that I could get my gold lanyard during check in for the second cruise, but that seemed silly...at the time...

Default Gold status and Prevailing winds question

We’ll be gold too after our cruise Feb 15
I do have one question. Just got an email that they’ve rearranged all the activities to make Marvel Day the first sea day due to “prevailing winds”. Does anybody have any experience with this? Should I be concerned?

Don't be surprised if you get gold lanyards when you check in. IIRC they do that on your 5th cruise.

Maybe mildly concerned. No experience with that, but it's a big hint that on-deck activities in general may be restricted, or at least somewhat unpleasant, during part of the cruise. You can still have a great cruise!

Thanks. That’s kinda what I’m worried about too!

We made Platinum a couple of cruises ago, so it is probably time for DCL to re-assess what it takes for the different levels and knock us down a bit--like creating a level above Platinum and then we would no longer be in the top category.
