Default Sip, Savor and Sparkle

Has anyone done this, and if so, what is your opinion?

Thanks!

Sip, Savor and Sparkle
Join us for an intimate event that celebrates fine food and fireworks.
Highlights
Experience the flavors of the Pacific Coast—and enjoy a dazzling fireworks display—during Celebration at the Top, a special event held in the private Sonoma Room and Napa Room of California Grill.
Here, you can relax, unwind and savor light bites and refreshments for one hour prior to the Magic Kingdom fireworks. Culinary offerings include:
Canapés, sushi and small plates inspired by the California Grill menu
Libations from the complimentary bar offering California wines, beers, and cordials.
As showtime approaches, step out onto the intimate and private observation deck reserved just for Celebration at the Top Guests. Here, you can enjoy an incredible view of the Wishes nighttime spectacular—the biggest and brightest fireworks in Magic Kingdom history. The lights will dim as music is piped into California Grill—so you’ll be immersed in the magic of the night.
After fireworks, head back inside to enjoy a sweet spread of petit four desserts, cordials and coffee.

$99 per person

I ran across it while looking for some different dining ideas. I hadn't heard of it either! Sounds nice. If it is open bar it wouldn't be too bad price wise.

A review I read wasn't overly impressed with it. http://www.easywdw.com/easy/blog/rev...porary-resort/ I thought the breakdown of other ways to spend the same amount at California Grill was especially interesting.

Thanks for the link. Although he gave it a milk warm review, it gave me a better idea of what was served and actually I thought it looked nice!

Cool. Of the two special events, I thought the brunch sounded better (and it's a bit cheaper) and then go back later for the fireworks.

If you attend, be sure to let us know what you thought. The review noted that it was the first night so maybe they've worked out some of the kinks.
