![]() We have been going to the Bahamas since 2003. Almost all of our stays have been at the Atlantis Resort (via timeshares) and we have also been to the Sandals Resort.
We actually have a trip booked or Atlantis in July of this year. We have never driven on the island. We have always arranged transfers from the airport to the resorts. If we leave the resorts, we just grab a taxi....they are everywhere and rates are fixed. If you are going all inclusive, I highly recommend Sandals Royal Bahamian.....everything about the resort is first class. Plus the have their own little island for even further quiet and relaxation. We love the Atlantis because of everything it offers.....entertainment, food, pool, Aquaventure, beach, gambling, etc. Because of Covid, I am not sure what you are going to get when staying at any resort. I am sure that like Disney, everything is scaled back. If you want true beach time and quiet time, I would recommend USVI St John. Its paradise in my opinion.

![]() I see you don't want to stay at Atlantis. I can only say that my DW and I absolutely love it there. We feel it's the best the Bahamas has. We were lucky to go on an all inclusive at the time. I don't think they offer it now,so it will be pricey. We just rescheduled our April 21 cancelled cruise to 2022 and changed our itinerary to Atlantis, only for a day but we taking some family to experience Atlantis. We love it there. It's fantastic. Enjoy wherever you decide.
We also did Sandals, which was beautiful too but to us nowhere near what Atlantis offers

![]() I’m a big fan of the outer islands. I have a hard time finding Nassau relaxing. Atlantis gives me “if Vegas were on the beach” vibes. We go to Eleuthera every year and it’s lovely if you’re looking for quiet pristine beaches. You’ll usually have the beach to yourself! We have a few Airbnb’s that we love and fly Delta or American right to the island. The places we stay usually don’t have WiFi/TV, it’s a true no frills vacation which I enjoy.

![]() I have not done any all-inclusive resort options. Last visit we stayed in Atlantis (timeshare) and going again in spring break, will stay same way.

![]() So...is there a timeshare rental option for Atlantis?
However, the quiet beach offering in an area like Eleuthera sounds Wonderful!!

![]() I don’t know about the Bahamas. But we had an awesome all-inclusive vacation at the Hilton Rose Hall in Jamaica (Montego Bay). It was relatively inexpensive too. I think it was like $900 all-in for 2 of us for 5 days. And it was Jamaican Independence Day week, so it was sold out. I don’t know if you have to have the Bahamas, or if there’s a difference with Covid measures or outbreaks between the two countries, but it’s an option.

![]() I wonder where Disney is with the Eleuthera plans, now that you mention it.
