Default Disney Foodies: tragic news

Disney managed to pull off the overnight Christmas transformation last night at MK. We stopped in to use last day FP and my DS started asking if the decorations meant he could get some Holiday Fries. So I went to track them down at CHH only to find out that they wonít be selling them at all this year due to low sales last year.

While I wonít personally miss French fries adorned in green and red frosting, my DS is sure lamenting the loss!

Somehow "Foodies" and "fries" don't belong in the same post, IMO. Gourmands, perhaps.

Cheers.

Shit, I had michelin-starred french fries last night. They, however, did not have frosting.

Made from potatoes, likely fried in oil. I'll bet the similarity ended there

But, yeah, I'm sure more than a few Michelin starred places (how many stars, by the way?) have some sort of a fried potato thing. I still don't consider this a "foodie" item, however. But this is all a matter of taste.

Cheers.

Me thinks it was a jest.

In all seriousness, I thought this post was about the person who passed away during this weekend's F&W 5K Give your loved ones extra hugs, because you never know when real tragedy will appear.

I'm actually quite sure that there are Michelin-starred places with some version of fried potatoes on the menu.

For example, here is a Michelin-starred chef doing fries...it does happen

Cheers.

A local restaurant serserved duck fat fries with truffle oil drizzle. Personally, I think the fries are a bit soggy. It's like putting lipstick on a pig.
