Default Dining Plan Question

We have a last minute 3 way split stay coming up, 1 night at POFQ (no DVC rooms), 2 at BWV and 3 at BLT. If we purchase the dining plan for the BWV portion, can I access it the morning of check out from POFQ, or do I have to wait until we physically check in to BWV. I have done online checkin. Thanks

What you should do is have the POFQ and the BWV reservations in different names.

The DDP should be available to use after you checkout of the POFQ room. This is assuming the reservations are linked.

**note** I don't do split stays, so I am not 100% on the check-out part.

I am surprised there are some things you don't do with your DVC!

I have never bought DDP - but with a "modified 2 bedroom lockoff" (1BR VGF, Studio Poly) the plan is to get DDP for the 4 at VGF and share with my boys staying at the Poly - I believe this was a tip previously provided by Tom

Once we are unpacked, we don't want to repack unitl its time to checkout. Also, We are early risers, rope droppers and naps are idea in the "heat" of the day. Moving rooms will eliminate nap time. No nap equals cranky and sweaty people.....I rather be happy.

We use the DDDP loop hole when we get the chance. Best use of the DDDP, especially if you have kids under the age of 9.

Online checkin counts toward activation of your dining plan. If for whatever reason it doesn't work you can go to guest services in the park. Worst case you are trying to use it and it doesn't work just charge to your room and the front desk can sort it out once you are actually at the hotel.

And there you go....We always do online check-in.
