Maybe the non alcoholic ones are - not sure- but the alcoholic ones are not! In the times I have been, I personally saw the bartender make my drinks.

The drinks we got at Oga's appeared to all be pre-made. They got the cocktail from a tap in the back, then shook it with ice and poured into our glass.

Note that this is not necessarily a bad thing, and if done right the cocktail can be just as good, and even more consistent from bartender to bartender ... batching cocktails is more about speed of service than anything.

Also, to the original topic... the sound levels and activity there were about what I expected. I personally like quieter more relaxed lounges better (like Nomad Lounge, etc), but also enjoy Trader Sam's and Oga's, knowing that I am going into a different atmosphere, and there in part for the "show".

Got a question.....this is essentially a bar...I understand children want to see it. But it is a bar. How a about one thing in this land for adults or older children.
I didn't find it loud or annoying. little pricey yeah. But it's a thoroughly themed bar in a theme park.
I pay roughly 5 to 8 bucks for a beer in Portland. And in wdw I know I will be spending a ton more. I guess I'm saying, I'm not surprised what this place is or what they serve. I like it for what it is. Keep kids out, not necessarily the right spot for them. Either is trader Sam's.

We went there shortly after they opened and thought it was fun, it is loud but so was the bar that it is emulating from the movie. That being said we are certainly not rushing back as we prefer quieter more laid back venues.

No arguments on the drinks. I just find the atmosphere "forced". Outside is probably the best solution as someone else posted,

Just came in from having Pizza and a nice bottle of Central California wine by our pool, frankly I'll take that to drinks at Oga's anytime

And I like the atmosphere, kitschy as it is.

Cheers.

Cheers.
