Default Double digits until the Magic takes me to BCN!

Hey all. We're getting ready for this years adventure across the sea. We're taking the Disney Magic from Miami to Barcelona on our first Transatlantic cruise. We leave CHS on May 10 and sail May 11th. We've already passed final payment and all of our online reservations are made.

There are four of us traveling (It was supposed to be five, but Brian's new job stabbed us all in the heart ). Once in Barcelona, our friends Jon and Carolyn are flying over from England to hang with us- so far they've visited us in London, Prague, and now Barcelona.

We've set up excursions, hotels, and air. We're basically ready to go. I'm hoping to do a trip report when we get home. At least until I see something shiny and lose track of it.

I will be very interested in your feelings and impressions of the transatlantic cruise. We have been thinking of doing it next year. I hate to fly and this would eliminate one long flight and provide a unique experience.

Please give us a trip report!! That will likely be our next cruise after Norway.

What excursion have you chosen? What are the ports? Tantalize us!!

Eating - OMG the food in Barcelona is great. Eat bigger lunch then find Tappas bars at night to eat. So inexpensive.

Sign up for two day bus pass/ Red line and blue line. so easy to see everything.

get your tix now for Sagrafamilia.

Do the Barcelona national museum tour. Very short, but you get to go underground and see the roman ruins.

Stabbed in the heart, indeed. Bah humbug.

But of course really hope you all enjoy immensely! Can’t wait to hear all about it.

Formally "Sagrada Familia" (Sacred Family) when looking for tickets.

Cheers.

Smile Great trip!

That will be so much fun. My sister and her kids are on that cruise, I would love to go in the future. Have a great time!
