I'm probably in the minority when I say it would be a deterrent. Most likely because I view securing high demand reservations such as AKV value or club as nice to haves and not worth staying on hold for 15 minutes each time I move the reservation forward. With this added convenience, I can now automate walking a reservation.

I still won't walk a reservation because I don't think it's necessary for the time of year we travel.

Wait, I didn't really want to drop first AND last day...

Nevermind, I'll just keep my original reservation...What do you mean it is gone now.

Where's the 'UNDO' button????

It is scary to rely on the DVC IT department....

In 2018, the DVC member website will be updated to allow existing reservations to be modified online. Until now, only new bookings or cancellations could be performed online while changes required a call to Member Services. No specifics were given as to how the feature will work or when it will go live.
When do you suppose this will take effect?

I havenít read anything with a timeline. Canít be soon enough for me. Iím the worldís worst about tweaking details on my reservations, especially since we have to plan so far in advance. Iím sure that as soon as Disney makes an announcement, MO will be all over it!

I was at the meeting, and I seem to remember that they said this summer for the changes to the reservations program.
