I would add BWV has a dry sauna which is great for relaxing your tired legs then dip in the hot tub.
This I did not know. Where is the sauna?

Cheers.

I personally would pick BWV as it is my home resort. But BC offers a lot too. Either way you can't go wrong !! Have the 2 best resorts IMO within walking distance of each other and EPCOT & HS !!!

Though BWV not perfect I did a brief trip report and I found the BCV not a great experience at all. The SAB may be nice but didn't like how the pools were broken up and I found them looking less than pristine. I don't think BWV is noisy perhaps if you have BW view and door is open.

I didn't know about the sauna either. Guess where I'll be in 2.5 weeks?

Cool. Thanks. We run on vacation, but never go into fitness center. Sauna may be a reason

Cheers.

OP has some great replies from people far more knowledgeable than I am. You really can't go wrong with either BCV or BWV. The location is the main value. The ability to walk to and from HS and Epcot is priceless. The only hotel that is better is BLT.

DH looks at/for resorts as places to stay that are convenient and can walk to at least one park/place. if we're not staying at BWV, we're usually at BLT (walking to MK..) we've done Poly twice, and he was good enough there with monorail/boat options, and proximity to TTC. (but we don't love studios) ,Have done AKL Kidani twice, and it was like pulling teeth to get him to try it a second time...Also, since kids are older, we're not planning nearly as much time in MK..He'd probably be happy staying at BWV every trip !

He likes the dining options at Disney Springs, so that's the impetus for SSR. The resort doesn't thrill me. I remember busses being a pain, but we most likely will be going to water parks that second week, and DH is looking for convenience of driving off property for those.

I hope one day to try CCR...maybe can convince him for a short stay there if/when doing a split stay....resort has SO much to offer!!!!
I arrived late to this thread so am sorry I couldnít have chimed in about SSR. We love our home: five pools (two feature and one glorious quiet one), the spa, Artistís Palette, Turf Club Lounge, Disney Springs...

Anyway, enjoy!!
