![]() So four of us have all our dining reservations set for our upcoming trip. Our friends daughter just decided to surprise us and join our trip. I have tried to change our dining reservations from 4 to 5 people. Most of the reservations can’t be changed from 4 to 5 people and show no availability at our chosen restaurants for 5 people at all. Does anyone know if they will accommodate if we show up with 5 people?
Or do I need to look to make all new reservations in different restaurants? Has anyone else experienced something like this? |

![]() 4 to 5 is usually much harder due to table size. I would not count on them being able to accommodate with the restrictions in place.

![]() I agree... with covid they've got tables blocked off and it's not as flexible as moving a chair here or there. I'd just cancel your 4's and rebook 5's or get quick service if you can't get 5's.

![]() Also, sometimes odd numbers are harder. You could try a 6 and come with 5. It's the same-sized table very likely, so you're not taking away space from anyone else.
Cheers.

![]() A few years back tried to add my son, and change from 6 yo 7. Nobody could do that. I'd try and reschedule them all to either 5 or 6. I do agree odd numbers might be harder. Good luck. Hope you can get some new reservations!

![]() Yes to this! Sometimes adding 2 works better than 1.

![]() I have never had any problems with bringing additional guests to a dining reservation at WDW. Cast members are always happy to help you out.

![]() True!
While they do try, they cannot always accommodate. We've run into issues more than once. A few times we booked a table for 1 or 2 to cover.
