Default My annual fall trip during the time of Covid

I usually go to WDW in fall and stay at a BC studio. This trip was book at exactly 11 months out. I leave Oct 30 for six nights.

This year I have canceled two trips to wdw. I am hesitant about this one but am going solo. I had moved it this late as my son had just announced his engagement . The wedding was yesterday . It was smaller than planned but was an elegant event .

Now I need to pack and start thinking about Wdw and not weddings . I am about as Unexcited about this trip as I have ever been about a Disney trip.

I have been inside basically since March. This trip will be different . I am driving to wdw from Ga . I have an annual pass . I had no trouble making the dining reservations I wanted and getting the parks reservations . I will miss park hopping and longer hours. But mainly I will miss shows and parades .

I have no real must sees . I will be there during the election night. That may prove to be the most interesting night of the trip.

Life is not normal for anything or anyone and WDW is certainly not normal. As long as you pack a good sense of humor and patience I bet you will be pleasantly surprised in how much fun you will have. We have had some great times in the parks since Covid.

Have a wonderful time destressing from Wedding stress!

Have fun....Stay safe!

I have found that the WDW resorts and Parks have done a fantastic job with the coronavirus.

Have a great trip/safe travels! Hope for cooler weather for you.
Definitely a little different, but still so nice to be in WDW, hear all the magical background music, etc, etc. We are excited for our Nov trip.

Disney is definitely different. There is still magic there. Enjoy the food and wine.
Have fun and stay safe.

I went to wdw right after 9-11 and this is even less crowded than it was then .

I left on Friday and made good time from Macon. I picked up my scooter from Golds mobility . I really enjoy their scooters and service . P .

Enjoy your trip Sherry. You may find that all the people are in the parks.

Enjoy! We just got home and had a great time. It was considerably busier than end of August, but Disney does a great job.

The people still seem to be missing. At AK and Epcot most rides were walk ons.
At studios today it was more crowded as many wanted ride of resistance . But when I left at 6:30 in the rain it was a ghost town. The most popular rides had an hour wait . But the rest were walk ons .

I scooted back to BC from studios in solitary splendor . I go to MK tomorrow . Perhaps I will see all the people there . Personally I do not miss them at all.
