I thought vero beach subsidized dues were not transferable to the new owner.

They do transfer to the new owner via resale, but if Disney ROFRs the contract they eliminate the subsidy when they re-sell. In general, though, I don't think that the subsidy is not guaranteed to last, so it's still risky. I'm optimistic though!

I was just wondering what if there is something goofy with the title? Does Dvc then take back the contract and tell you sorry you are out of luck can't use it anymore? Sellers are not international so no issues there.

See if escrow will let you waive the title insurance.
Sometimes they don't because it CYAs everyone.

We passed on 3/6 and just received our closing documents - just over 2 weeks. With a little luck & cooperation from the sellers, we hope to be able to book by the 7 month mark for our trip this year.

Thank you everyone! We are very excited about this contract!!!

cpnkirk - hope you get everything done in time to book.
