Apparently Baby Yoda has now been blessed with a name: "Grogu"

"Grogu"?! Seriously?!
It's like they had a contest and picked the worst entry instead of the best....

"Yoda" sounds like a Jedi Master. "Grogu" sounds like a deformed frog. Which is perhaps not entirely inappropriate. But it still stinks.

Might want to make it a spoiler thread in case people are not caught up. My brother did mention it reminded him of yogurt which just happens to lead into Spaceballs

I still call him Baby Yoda.

Our 6yr old wasn't a fan of Grogu as a name to start and noped right out of the next episode where he was captured. He did not like that. But all ended well for him and he seems to have even warmed to the name, though still switches back and forth between Baby Yoda and Grogu.

My kid is a few episodes behind - will catch up once school is done this week. But I fear his reactions to the last 3 episodes.
