Default DVC Removes Fees for Some In-room Amenities

Coffee, towels, and laundry detergent can apparently now be replenished upon request at no additional charge.

That's according to DVC News, via https://wdwnt.com/2020/01/disney-vac...oom-amenities/

Nice! We always need more towels, and now we won't have to pay for them anymore.

in my 10+ years of ownership, I was never charged for these things when I asked for them.

I think there was a note that if we ran out of detergent or toiletries (or maybe I just asked?) to ask for more when I stayed at CCV. Housekeeping didn't seem to mind handing them over. It may be they simply formalized what had been happening.

It's nice to see something go in the right direction, though. Now, how many loads of wash do I have to do to make back the $6 delivery charge on groceries?

Since I donít drink coffee, and I donít use their laundry detergent (prefer my own), could I just request a higher quality toilet paper instead?

I also didnt realize any of this was charged. If I ever have been charged for it, I havnt noticed. But with how much I spend on a trip that all shows on the card statement as disney I doubt I would notice if i was.
