A lot of discussion on this on some other boards. Will this be the big selling feature for the new DVC at CBR?

Default Gondola cable cars plans

https://www.google.com/amp/www.orlan...story,amp.html

It lookes like the cable car system might actually happen. It will be neat that it is lonking a moderate and value to the parks.

Eehh...not for me. It was okay as a short ride at MK. But I do not want to use it as transportation to a resort. I have this thing called claustrophobia. It will not work for me. The thought that it could break down mid air and I would be stuck up there....no!

I wonder if it would accommodate a ecv.

I read somewhere that it will have a backup system so the cars can be moved off the lines in case of a problem - so it theoretically won't get "stuck"

I'm sure they'll have a way - I don't see transportation that isn't accessible by wheelchair, stroller & ECV.

I like the fact that unlike the buses and monorail, there is a definite passenger limit! Now if they will only enforce it...

I'm surprised (and still will be if it actually happens) that the gondolas would only hold ten people per car. That doesn't seem efficient enough, but then again, I'm not a gondola engineer or a transportation expert
