As you know, we all have our favorite causes that we believe it is important to support.

While many such causes are worthy, some can become a source of unexpected controversy. In addition, if we allow solicitations for one cause, then we are placed in the unenviable position of having to choose between those that are "important" or "worthy" and those that are not. On the other hand, if we simply allow all solicitations to be posted, then we face the possibility of being inundated by requests for donations.

Therefore, posts soliciting support for non-Disney organizations or causes are not considered appropriate for Community Hall or any other Mouseowners Forums.
