Gee, why do I wonder if there was alcohol involved (or maybe-how MUCH alcohol was involved?)

Here's the link.

At this point I'm not sure how the car got up there...

???? That's the guest drop off area that they were driving thru. That part was perfectly normal.

If they were unfamiliar with the area I can somewhat see how that could happen. There are many walkways that guests could mistake for traffic areas if they are not paying attention. I think of alcohol was involved that would have been in the article...

I do not -- I try to visit briefly whenever I can.
In recent years that's meant taking a boat from MK.
A couple years ago I stopped by the DVC desk in the WL lobby just to say hi, and got roped into a tour of CCV, including a 1BR and a Cabin!
Totally sweet!

Iíve thought about this since I first heard about it. Iím sorry. No way that was a stupid mistake. Stupid, yes. But very impaired cognitive functioning for some reason. Itís not even confusing an exit ramp for an entry ramp or going down the left fork instead of the right fork.

Itís a blatant, hard dog-leg turn. That was one confused driver for some reason.

Now the story would have really had a twist if they had valet parked.

My guess more like impatience and trying to exit the area.
