Why is DVC charging me $4 a month?

I would put money on it being something to do with the recurring payment.

Here we have direct debits which are fine. if there’s nothing owed nothing comes off. But there are also some types of recurring payments which continue until the payee stops requesting them, a bank can’t stop them. My guess is it’s something like that with a minimum charge .

That's what's strange - all my payments before were direct-debited from my checking account. This suddenly jumped to the credit card I have on file with MDE. It's definitely a direction action Disney took.

I may have time to call today. If not, it will be tomorrow. Hope it's not the 11 month window for an important reservation.

Ok - I checked, it won't accept my credentials. But it still sends me an email telling me somebody just logged into my [non-existent] DVC account after I enter them!!

I get that email every time I log into my DVC account from the same iPad I’ve had for a few months which was transferred from my old iPad I’d had for years!

I’d contact the credit card company and skip DVC. Tell them that you’re no longer a DVC member so DVC won’t even talk to you! The credit card company should be able to contact Disney to figure out what is causing the charge.

That’s a good idea. Dispute the charges with the CC company and let them sort it out.

I did not think you could do monthly payments via credit card - only bank direct debit. And since there aren't fees to do the monthly payment this is strange.
