Default Seven Days in June

Grandma, me, DD1 and hubby, DD2 and her hubby, and our three grandsons (8, 8, 6) counting down to our biennial DVC vacation. A first for us due to wanting to stay longer: no Grand Villa, but two 2BR non preferred view at SSR. Requested Paddock, southern-most buildings.

Dining plans falling into place: Chef Mickey's on arrival day (a tradition), Coral Reef to watch SIL2 as he Dive Quests, O'Hana, CG for grandma and me only, Backyard BBQ for Grandparents and Grandsons only, while the moms and dads will hopefully be treated to the Highway in the Sky Dine Around, if it's available in June.

Love this Disney planning! Cannot wait!!

Because there are so many youngsters here, I'm sure many will miss the significance of the thread title. Any ancient ones care to spill the beans?

The first thing I thought of was an old movie with Kirk Douglas involving the same number of days in a different month.

That's what I had in mind: "Seven Days in May". It may or may not have been intentional on the part of OP, but it popped into my head when I saw the title.

Have done it a couple times with no problems. The kids don't necessarily do parks together. Some days we just see each other at breakfast!

Grandma and I determine a couple of do not touch dining ressies. (Chef Mickey's and Backyard BBQ this time) Other than that, it's do your own thing.

We huddle up at some point prior to FP+ opening day and put everyone's selections on paper. Then at the annoited hour on opening day, the selections are made.
