Talking So what would you want to play?

Rebel,

Empire,

or Jedi

(maybe there will be more choices?)

What do you think the parts would be....

Looks fun, but not sure it's in my budget with DD in college this year as Freshman...

I have two questions:

1. What do you think they will charge per night?

2. What would you be willing to pay per night?

For Question 1, I would guess at least $1000 per night but wouldn't be surprised if it were higher. For Question 2, I would consider $2000 a night if it's as unique an experience as people are speculating.

Whatever it is, I think it will be A LOT. Not sure what I'd be willing to pay yet. I'll have to hear more details.

I foresee it being the hardest WDW hotel to book, no matter the price.

If they made this a DVC resort, it'd sell out in 6 months even at 100 points per person per 2 night "event'. Booking would almost never reach 7 month and it'd be a walking advertisement for DVC for decades.

Want to be part of the Star Wars Experience? Come see us at DVC.

If DVC bought up 30% of the rooms themselves and offered a stay at half points with significant enough purchase at any resort? Printing gold bars there.

Jim Hill's intel says it will be a new build in the area of the existing World Drive entrance hence the move to a new Main vehicle entrance near the Osceola/Victory intersection. He used the term "park adjacent hotel", similar to the EuroDisney hotels.

My wife saw somewhere that the model of Star Wars land they had at D23 showed a space at the end that said it was for a paid experience, so that would suggest that this hotel is going to be built on the edge of the land somewhere and be a new hotel.

According to info at D23, it is supposed to be $650 for first person, and $200 for each additional guest. There will be a two-night stay minimum. Like the new Star Wars: Galaxy's End, the Star Wars hotel will be a 100% immersive experience.

If that ends up being the price for 2 nights, then that's do-able for our family of 4. If per night, yikes. probably not.

This is going to attract lots of die-hard fans too, who are less interested in Disney and more in anything SW....I've met so many people from all over the world who go to everything SW. one group had travelled to all of the filming locations in Norway, Tunisia, California Redwoods, etc, not to mention all of the conventions.

So as popular as I know it will be with the Disney fans, you have to contend also with a VERY dedicated SW fan base for the rooms!

We are so excited though for all of it. We need to start a special Star Wars savings club account!

I head the sexbots were too expensive so, they were just going to use college program castmembers.
