Careful, while the corona virus causes fever and coughing, ingesting Corona beer can cause GI distress, cravings for taco bell and waking up in an unfamiliar location without any pants.

Ha! Me too except I'd normally be drinking wine. And notice the limes ;-)

That's an oft-ovrlooked point. The regular old flu kills far more people than corona. Also, from what I've heard, it does not kill healthy folks, only those compromised in some way. However, it seems that corona is much faster-spreading than the flu, so there is certainly reason for caution.

Our Taiwan management meeting in early Feb was postponed until May.

Cheers.

Ha!

No changes here. Really doesn’t sound that terrible for most people. But as with anything else, if I die, I die.

And, like all of us, you will. Ideally far, far later than sooner, though.

Cheers.

Short of avoiding China, I'm not changing any plans based on coronavirus so far.

While a couple of healthy people have died from it, the overall death rate is minimal and primarily of folks who had some complicating factor. Even then it's taking fewer lives than this season's influenza, from what I've read.

I was just reading two articles...one of then was how many patients that were infected have recovered fully...think the number is over 300. Another article was talking about the Washington case, and it said that a trial of an antiviral drug was given to him and that all symptoms except his cough have been resolved. This was/is being published in a medical journal as well.
