Default Lion King Movie

I saw this movie today with about 50 children under three. Please leave your wee little ones home . The movie is scary . It is also long for a child. I heard one child asking of the stuffed animals were ok. That about summed it up for me.

I wish there was a film of the Lion King stage show .

Saw it Sunday, quite good, much better than I feared based on some of the reviews (hence why I once again would never let a review influence my decision to attend...).

Agreed on leaving really little ones at home, definitely an added level of realism.

Made a killing at the box office, which I didnít really expect to that degree despite the nostalgia factor for many.

When Aladdin was released, I took the kids as a treat. The tiger came out of the sand and my youngest scaled me like a ladder, shoving her face into my neck and screaming.

Saw it on Friday. Although I believe the realism of the animals was excellent (Disney has really nailed that technology) and there were some funny moments, I personally didn't like it. I've come to the conclusion I really shouldn't see these real life remakes. You just can't replace the original and nostalgic, and I kept comparing the character voices. And, you can't compete with Nathan Lane no matter how funny you are. Also, the death of Mustafa was just too real and emotional. They spent too much time on that scene and detailed it out too much. Was sad for the rest of the movie.
