Where are you thinking of purchasing?
Thinking about a resale contract at GFV. Also looking for a direct purchase, maybe riviera?. I know thereís a lot of concerns about resale and restrictions... etc. Weíre huge fans of the non-bus transportation. But we havenít actually looked at any of the resorts let alone stayed at any. So thereís definitely some research to be done. (Weíve eaten at poly, contemporary, and beach club...)

Welcome aboard!

Fun place. We don't bite...

...OK, that's a lie. We usually don't leave marks, though...

Cheers.

Welcome! Gathered a lot of good information from the boards here when we bought in last spring (resale). Just got back from our first trip on the DVC side. We too are thinking about a direct purchase, though we are leaning towards Copper Creek.

Best of luck as you walk this journey.

Oooo as a former DVC owner I am so curious about those cabins. Welcome!

Hi! The cabins at FW are really nice, however they arenít great for us.

We were crowded, but we had a double stroller and a car seat along with all of our suitcases. The pack-n-play in the bedroom made that cramped too.

Our biggest complaint was the campgrounds amenities didnít match our vacation style. We like going down to the quick service restaurant before heading to transportation for a quick hot breakfast. Iím on vacation, Iím not a short order cook DH likes to take his caffeine cold, and preferably from a soda fountain.. so thatís an added bonus to going somewhere. It turned out that we were only able to do this one day out of 6 as the QS isnít open early enough if youíre catching the early bus or if MK has early morning hours and youíre catching the first boat. Certainly rolling the stroller with sleeping kids into the boat was amazing. Unfortunately you still have to wake the kids up to take the bus to the cabins and then hike 10 minutes to youíre cabin halfway around the loop. Haha.

We had an amazing time.
