I saw the last show. He was at his best story telling about family and disney. I wish he had done more of that. You could tell he really like the choir too. They were excellent and the conductor was very entertaining also. Love the long trumpets. My try to catch NPH as were here til next week.

He's also occasionally performs with the Beach Boys. I saw him in Cincinnati a few years ago. Known as a big Disney memorabilia collector.

I confess that I too thought you were joking about who he was.

I don’t watch TV at all but still knew that John Stamos salvaged the big Disneyland sign and has a true Disney heart. And expected a glowing Candlelight performance . I think he threw shade at NPH when an excited fan made some noise at start of the evening. I suspect Mr. Stamos is aware of the competition NPH brings with popularity of Candlelight narration. I have a new favorite and hope WDW invites him and his family back to this yearly!

Reminder Dec 4 Live Stream of thee NPH Candlelight Processional from DisneyParksBlog !

so i agree John was good. i saw it Saturday evening. However my wife thought he was a bit "colorful". While his intro story was great, what my wife didn't like was in the actual story reading, so he's doing the birth of christ reading, and the choir sings joy to the world or something super uplifting, and when they finish before they read the next part, john says "wow, you guys should go on tour with me and beach boys"..gets a laugh or applause.and then he continues the birth of christ story.

As far as star power, i enjoyed John Stamos. the choir was wonderful as always. but in the past i liked Whoopi reading and John O'Hurley better than the deliver John had.

We must have similar tv taste . I had no idea who was either . I have never heard of John Hurley either.

John O'Hurley is probably less visibly out there than Stamos as he does a lot of voice work but if you watched Seinfeld you'd know him. J Peterman

He also has the distinction of having been on the first season of Dancing with the Stars. Came in 2nd.

I think my favorite was Susan Lucci (Erica Kane from All My Children)
She was like a Christmas ornament added to the tree all dressed in sparkly red and was so overwhelmed by the spectacle she a’lmost cried at the ending.
I noticed they shortened the story at the ending also.
I have a couple copies of the CD performed by the mother of the Cosby show and like to listen to it. definitely shortened version and kinda disappointed.
The line is out there today already.
Guess I’ll watch the live stream tonight reminder.

Phylicia Rashad. Talented lady with a lovely speaking voice.

We were there Saturday night along with a few million Stamos fans.
We went to the standby line at 6 for the 6:45 show and the cm told us not to waste our time that it and most likely the last show were full already.
We stood in back about 6 deep which ended up being about ten deep.
I was surprised at the age range of fans--teens to senior citizens.
We stood for half of it and I liked his narration.
We went to the Thanksgiving night 5:00 show and had great seats lining up about 15 minutes prior on a much higher crowd level day.
