Default Painting With a View

Show off your artistic side! Members and special guests are invited to join us for an instructor-led painting class at Top of the World Lounge, located at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort.
This fun-filled painting experience is offered most Tuesday mornings and Thursday afternoons through December 29, 2020.

Highlights Put paint to canvas as you recreate a classic Disney picture. Award-winning artist Marla E will show you how to bring the magic of Disney to life using a 9” x 12” canvas and basic art supplies.

Classes are offered most Tuesday mornings and Thursday afternoons. Different paintings are featured each day—so you can book a Tuesday class and a Thursday class and create 2 different pictures.

During this experience, you can also enjoy:

Refreshments — Tuesday Morning Classes
During morning classes, you can start the day with a light breakfast. Adults ages 21 and older can also enjoy a complimentary alcoholic beverage. Additional alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.

Refreshments — Thursday Afternoon Classes
During afternoon classes, you can delight in complimentary snacks, water and soda during this event. Adults ages 21 and older can also enjoy one complimentary glass of wine or beer. Additional beer and wine will be available for purchase.

Incredible Views
Top of the World Lounge is one of the most exclusive spaces at Walt Disney World Resort. It offers sweeping views of Magic Kingdom park from the 16th floor of Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

A Commemorative Keepsake

I did an event like this at HHI and it was a lot of fun! Thinking of booking it for my next trip to WDW. Thanks Tom for posting!

We did this 2 times at BLT about 2 years ago with the same instructor, Marla, and had a wonderful time. me, DH, DD1 and DSIL. Both times it was Thursday afternoon with a terrific cheese platter, great fruit platter and wine.

We had fun interacting with the others at our table....several of which were very talented. We were not so we hated them. (we told them so and had a good laugh).

DD2 and I also had Marla at Port Orleans Riverside as an instructor though it was $35 (and cash only drinks) instead of BLT $50. DD2 did so well of the little mermaid that she framed it over her fireplace Mine ended up in the garbage. But so fun.

My wife likes to draw and paint. We have done painting with a view at home and really like it, but this was so!d out when we were there last year. I called a couple months before our trip. So plan ahead. I will have to check other resorts next time.

DD and I did Painting with a View at TotWL two years ago and really enjoyed it. We painted a scene from Moana.

Last summer DD, DS, and I did the painting class at Jambo House and painted a scene from the Lion King. We really enjoyed that one as well, and I think it's a bit cheaper.

I don’t know looking forward to painting your new timeshare sounds like a lot more fun!

Post a meet greet paint our house party for Mouseowners and we can have pizza too !
Since I have a local car that seats 6 plus driver I can provide transport for MOs in town with extra day on their planned itinerary. Way more fun than sitting by the pool?

How about official Open House Party Invites instead?

LOL - thought in the back of my mind was we'd find a way to use what we paint in the house. Maybe it drives the theme of a bedroom???

Oh yeah, I'd totally host a party for MO at the new place!! Might not be painting (DH was professional paint contractor for years; I'm not allowed to paint at our place) but we could easily do something. I'll post something on a welcome party on my Buying Offsite thread now that you've put the thought in my head.
