Default "FRIGHT NITE" at Universal

We have never been to Halloween at Universal. Heard it was really scary. Would love to hear some reviews on it. TIA.

We haven't been either.

My youngest is planning a trip for it. He is really excited about the Stranger Things maze/house.

Halloween Horror Nights. They build about 7-9 houses that are themed. Last year they had The Shining, American Horror Story, among others. The houses are filled with actors who will jump out and some people get pretty freaked out.

They also have street zones that are filled with characters, last year that had different zones with Aliens, Evil Clowns, The creepy twins from the Shining, etc.

We enjoy it. Very different than anything Disney would ever do. Most of the people that go are awesome, but you do encounter more drunks and bad behavior. Security is very present and you will see people getting walked out if they donít behave.

My wife canít take much of it. My daughter and I enjoy walking around in the craziness. We are local so we get the frequent fear, so we can go just about any night. We usually spend a few hours and then head out.

If anyone is going to go for just one night, it is usually worth getting the Express pass as the house lines can get very long (depending on the night). If you can catch an early weeknight itís usually pretty manageable.

It's great and scary. But fun.

Seriously.....this year they have stranger things as one zone.

It will be so crazy there this year because of that.
I'm going to try to make it just for stranger things.

They are doing mirkwood forest. Hawkins lab, the upside down. It will follow the story line from first season.

It was so much fun. Get the front of the line pass. Totally worth it.

Haha. I bet.

Halloween Horror Nights is awesome. My DH and I went for years then had to scale back once we had kids since it depended on if my mom could babysit.

Itís definitely scary & not for kids. Lots of drinks and scantily clad ladies. The scareactors totally go after people that seem scared in the scare zones so act brave.
