I am so glad they didn't repeat studios only at Copper Creek! Also the cabins are more reasonable then the Bungalows!

Me too.....

We toured the CCV units back in July and really like them. i will give them a try in the future, probably in 2019. Already have 2018 booked up or planned (Christmas/NYE).

I think they did not do their homework on this one. Also, the lopsided value of the bungalows really inflates the point value, which IMO could mean poly owners are shut out of studio rooms within the 11 to 8 month window. A friend of mine (current non-DVCer) was interested in purchasing poly for the bungalows, thinking she would go every other year, but even 250 points every other year will not give her a full week in a bungalow in the summer. But...the poly lovers will still buy there, and this is what dvc is banking on... And it is an easy walk to TTC.

I was just on the resale sites again....bcv is still really high. I see some prices in the 140's and i am really puzzled by this. I wish I had a crystal ball back 8 years ago....i would have bought so many more points at bcv. We have lose to 400 there and we wanted to add on around 200 more there, but never at these prices. I am concerned on the impact of the riveria resort on the bcv bwv area. My kids have grown up with epcot as we would spend 2.5 weeks there every summer. As much as i love bcv i would never have bought there at these prices. I think many book in the 7 month window as i always check to see if i would have gotten my reservation in the 7 month window and when we first bought i could have....these last couple years absolutely not.

I kow this is redundant but i am flawed at the prices especially since it is getting close to direct

Though I wish the bungalows were not such a high point count. Their homework for the Poly was not based on the typical DVC buyer. They were going after a different market. DINC's that love and enjoy the Poly but see the hotel prices raising year after year. A large studio for a couple would work great even couples with a young child. Then the hopes they will add on, and on.... there is a whole group of Poly groupies that spend big bucks to stay there. That's who they were going after. Just a different marketing stragedy from what most DVC owners are use to.

OKW listing for $120 and you don't have 2017 points. It's the way the market is going. As far as BCV. Don't own there, stayed once and thought, why didn't I add on here when they built. As in all real estate, location, location. People like it for the vicinity to Epcot and HS (well what's left of HS). Storm along Bay a none pool hopping pool. Tell people they can't have something and they want it just because they can't. it just the nature of the beast.

increasingly difficult to book at seven months anytime of the year. easiest points to rent for top dollar.
