This info is awesome, but how can you put it to use?

Do you request a specific room, range of rooms, floor? Another key item I think is on-line check-in or deliberately not. When do they assign rooms for on-line? - or is it better to arrive mid-day (11 to 12 pm after most have checked out) then check in? Hope I am not too off topic....

Also dedicated 1br 2051, 3051, 4051 and 5051 are on the courtyard and used as Boardwalk view as well.

We got 5051 once and I was more than annoyed. No balcony off bedroom and just a tiny one off living room. And of course it is courtyard at boardwalk view points.

Points are the same amount but I do think it's more appropriate for it to be in the pool/garden view category rather than the boardwalk view.

Oh that's right, same pts.

Also, there is a chart on the other board of all the BWV room locations by view and room size that is quite handy. I can't link it obviously but use search term " BWV Villa locations by View" in the dvc resorts subforum and you'll find it.

2049 and 2047 are HA rooms. Good luck to any disabled person who cannot stand. The balcony walls are too high to see anything from a wheelchair. And these are the ONLY BW view HA rooms.

To each his/her own. My wife and I were in 5015 just before Thanksgiving, and the view was PERFECT for us! My wife is afraid of heights, and she felt secure there, and I had a perfect place to place my tripod for fireworks shots! Plus, it was extremely private. Sure, you can't see the Boardwalk itself, but the views of the lake and both Illuminations and Wishes fireworks were WONDERFUL! https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=3&theater
