Thanks all! If you stay at BLT, please let us know so we can update the maps. I will be checking in on Friday (standard view studio), so I should be able to provide pictures when I get back next week.

Wow! Great idea and thanks for doing it!!!

Do you have to exit BLT through the lobby or walkway bridge? Wondering if you can get in and out via the stairwells, too. If so, maybe those on the north portion of the building will have an even shorter walk to the MK.

I thought I would share some interesting maps on BLT.
Odd number rooms are the inner villas (the ones you see when facing BLT from the Pool)
Even number rooms are the outer villas (the ones you see from the monorail)

The rooms on the 1st and 2nd floor (71XX and 72XX) are where the standard view rooms are believed to be.

Some people who booked MK view rooms were initially given rooms on the 3rd floor (73XX), they asked to be moved to higher floors because the view is lower than the monorail which is equivalent to the 5th floor at BLT.

If you subtract 70 from the first two digits of the room number, that is the floor the room is on (71XX= first floor, 86XX = sixteenth floor)

Here is my start at a map with room types by room number (even numbered rooms only, I don't know about all odd numbering locations yet)

This one shows where the rooms are and the type of rooms:

Here is my first cut at views, I will update it as I get more information.

So if we want to get great MK pics, we should request a room Higher then the 5th floor to be above the Monorail?

There are many ways to get in. The lobby, the walkway to the Contemporary (4th fl in the Contemporary, 5th fl in BLT). The stairwells can also be used with your room key. We walked out the front lobby when walking to the MK, there is a nice walkway from the BLT lobby so you don't have to cut through the parking lot.

Welcome to MO and thanks for a great posting - very informative for all who are thinking of booking into BLT

Love the monorail addition to your signature, care to share with us where we can pick it up?
