Default Aulani - Stupid question

We will be at Aulani Saturday for the first time... I have been a DVC member for about 15 years and am "well versed" on Orlando resorts but not Hawaii! I am assuming it is a good idea to bring my DVC Membership Card but is there any reason to bring my magic band, annual pass or ??

Thanks!!!

No need for magic band or annual pass. The membership card to get some discounts but no where near as many places to use them like Disneyland or Disneyworld.

Membership card will get you free parking at the resort if you will have a car.

Your magic bands may well work to unlock your villa door. I have never been to Aulani, but we have used magic bands at HHI. They worked on our door, on the front entrance gate, and at the beach house entrance.

If the magicband works, I would think the AP card would work too if they are all linked in MDE.

You have to be staying on points to get free parking. Having a membership card will not get you free parking.

Default At Aulani now

Thanks for all of your replies. Here is what I have found out:

1) Magic band, worthless.
2) Annual pass, worthless.
3) DVC card, nearly worthless... some items at the gift shops

Everything is overpriced but we expected that... it's Hawaii!

No discounts for AP at Aulani. No need for Magic Band. They still use cards for doors. Only band is supplied to child who is in Kids Club.
