Default DVC perk you can't live without

The opportunity to purchase the Gold Annual Pass is a game changer for me. It allows me to afford the types of vacations I want to take. With it, we go to WDW an average of twice a year, don't worry about "maximizing" every minute in the parks, take advantage of the photopass, enjoy the discounts, etc.

If Disney ever revoked that perk, I would seriously consider selling my contracts. (Even though that would cause my family to sell or give away me.)

Is there a DVC perk that is so precious to you that if Disney revoked it, you would consider pulling out?

Same for me. The ability to get the AP with the DVC discount. Everything else is nice but since we donít usually take advantage of them would not be a deal breaker. Not sure if we would pull out if they took it away but I would be a very very unhappy DVC member.

Not a chance I would pull away from DVC due to perks.
Perks are just that and I originally was AP holder at rack rate with renewal without DVC discount since I enjoy the experiences WDW has to offer.
Since I bought where I want to stay I wouldn't even bail if they kept me to my home resorts.
That said I would have a real issue with points loss/drop out if they did that (ie., 45 point contract with 43 points used and not available for a roll over or other contract "fill-in" option since bank and borrow is limited in use year).

11 month out perk. It guarantees you home resort stay. The discounts I feel have got better too.

I've said it before and I'll say it again:
My favorite perk is being able to stay roughly 12 nights a year in deluxe resorts for under $150/night. Nothing else really matters.
AP discount is nice but negligible.

A guaranteed room seems to be a perk these days .

Is the 11 month booking window a perk? Seems to me that is what we bought in to not a perk. I also enjoy being able to stay in a deluxe resort way cheaper than I would be able to otherwise. Also as said above we bought where we want to stay. We have 7 resorts now and look to add RR as our 8th so we would be fine staying where we own as that is where we use the points now anyway.
