To be charged boardwalk view points for them is ridiculous. They are not a boardwalk view...they are a wall view.

Tell me about it! This is taken from my latest Trip Report:

"As you can see in the next photo, our balcony had this gigantic block that obstructed our view of the actual Boardwalk. We were REALLY looking forward to sitting (not STANDING!) out on our Boardwalk-View balcony and doing some people-watching, but alas, it would not happen...BUMMER."

I can see why you were disappointed given what you were looking for. Personally, I would mind the view - I think it's quite lovely to look across the lake and see other resorts.

However, I think rooms like that should be labeled "partial boardwalk view" or "resort view" (a category the Swan and Dolphin use to differentiate the various views). Of course, there may be 5-10 rooms with that problem, so the compromise would likely be "boardwalk/resort view" and you take your chances.

I've had the same room as Frank. It reminded me of the "secret porthole" rooms on the Magic/Fantasy. Only, in this case, Disney was still charging full price, rather than reclassifying them.

It worked fine enough for me, as I'm 6'4'' and could comfortably see over the barrier from most of the room. My 8 and 6 year olds, however, might as well been staring at a brick wall -- except that it was just high enough that they wanted to stand on the chairs and lean over to look. Great.

Last time I requested at Boardwalk view.

With our gang we have had to get GVs; we've had 4037 once and 4047 twice......absolutely no complaints. But we might have to get two 2-BRs next trip. Not sure I saw any 2BRVs with BW view(?)

Am I missing something?

They are all lock-offs. No dedicated 2 bedrooms that I know of at BWV.

We had 2049 on our last trip. I loved the view, but it was a loud room. We started hearing stuff being wheeled onto the boardwalk early in the morning. And we got power-washing every day!!!!

I am on my tablet and it won't let me use the search feature. So I will ask, does anyone remember where to find the room numbers for the corner rooms at BWV? I remember reading it, but cant find it now for the life of me.nu
