I am starting to get a little nervous about our stay in October. My mother is coming along with us on our 4 night disney cruise and then 4 nights in a 1BR BLT.
There will be 3 adults ( DW, mother and me) and two kids both under 6.
What do you think will be better for her???
Sharing the pull out couch with a little one or taking the sleeper chair??
She's in her upper 60's.

I dont want her to wake up with a bad back in DW.

At Kidani, there is no difference in the construction between the pull-out and the sleeper chair (except for the width). My adult sister (40s) used the sleeper chair for the last 2 years without a problem.

I assume the pull out and sleeper chair to be comperable in BLT.

We're not opposed to the pullouts, and will be using one in September since we'll have 8 adults (4 couples) and two kids in a GV. We would, however, opt for more than one unit before making anyone sleep on the floor.

Um, she's almost 70. It think she's old enough to make that decision for herself

The new sleeper beds might not be the most comfortable beds in the world. But they are *far* more comfortable that the old pullouts. Unless somebody has issues that leave them very picky about bedding, no need to worry about bad backs.

I think anything is better then sleeping (or not sleeping!) with children under the age of 6!! Mine at 8 yo is still a kicker and uses her head as a projectile ....and talk about sharp elbows! Her older sister was the same way when she was little.

I took a major power nap in the sleep chair/sofa at AKV. Loved it. We are staying at BLT in Sept and looking forward to another power nap. Loved it and looking forward to it. DD(38).

Our kids fight over the air mattress as opposed to the pullout. We used to use the airmattress to save points, now we use them because of the changes to the point charts.

Both my DS8 and DD12 have no complaints and actually fought over who would get to sleep in the chair. We had to make them alternate.
Anyone have a photo of an adult in the sleeper chair? My son didn't well at the PVB because of the pull down bed

I'm 63 and spent 4 nights on a pull out in AK-J. While the bed seemed rock hard, I was actually comfortable and my back felt great after 4 nights where usually by night 4 I can't wait to get home to my own bed.

Initially, I wondered but as time went on, I began to realized that the bed was actually comfortable. My daughter said the first night I announced while sound asleep, "Egg-crate tomorrow via Instacart."

BWV Studios have the pull down bed under the TV.
