Default Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom game shutting down at Walt Disney World

So sad for DW and I. We spent 3 or 4 visits just wandering the park playing this game. We were almost done with hard level before we left last time in November.

Very sad for us if true. Conflicting reports on if it is permanent or not below.

I'm sure a lot of people will miss it.

I won't. I went to the first window, and none of the starter pack cards nor the extra one or two I had did anything. So I just gave up, figuring it wasn't worth the trouble to get some more cards and try again.

We did learn that some cards were read better than others. It was a frustrating lesson to learn. But overall, it was great to have to wander and learn the park. We do this over any rides.

What a bummer....
I had just introduced my two grandsons to the game, during our Christmas trip.

This is true. Also, multiple cards played at once did better too.

That's a requirement for hard mode. Many people just take the book, place the cards in it, and show the camera a page thus showing 9+ cards simultaneously. On hard mode, you need several spell cards to win a battle.

We loved to pick our cards and laugh and see who's card was read or if they all were read. That was the art of holding the card for the camera just right which gave you bragging rights

Both my DW and I are silly competitive.

My kids are so sad. My 6yo said "I just started playing!" after watching her brother for so many years.

That is such sad news. We loved playing when we had some extra time.
we even got the last card we needed for the collection this past Thanksgiving!
DH was so excited. Kids too...
I love all the interactive games like this, Pirate adventure, and Phineas and Ferb. they are lots of fun, especially if you go often, and are looking for something more unique.....this news is a total bummer.
Hope it's temporary....
