I'm at DL right now. This place is amazing during the holidays. Don't overlook DCA, there is entertainment crammed into every nook and cranny. Festival of Holidays celebrates the holidays of many cultures prevalent in California and is very well done. Just sit by the hearth with a drink and enjoy the Christmas decorations and carolers. I could easily send a whole week here in December but our trip is only 3 nights this time.

My family is going to DL for the first time over a long Christmas weekend! Staying at the Grand Californian and I wasn't much excited either but as it gets closer I'm really getting excited. I agree with the others as I'm going into it not comparing as it was the beta version and I'm used to WDW and all it brings!

Have a great trip!

After many years of DL one month and WDW the next month trips I still find myself automatically following the opposite park routines. I'm always reminding myself where I am. It will be difficult to not compare and I think that is part of the fun.
(I also love trip reports) (especially Holiday versions) (Hope yours is merry jolly)
