Several years ago DW and I celebrated our 25th at the California Grill. We had a perfect window table for two, dined and wined for three or four hours. When the "bill" arrived, there was a GC envelope with a note card inside reading, "Happy 25th Mom and Dad! Love, your Daughters."

Our girls had prearranged with the staffat Cali Grill to treat us on our 25th. We cried. They pulled a similar stunt at Artists Point a few years later.

Disney anniversaries are awesome!

I feel the same way! I'm the OP's DD, so if I had to pick an absolute BEST experience I would definitely say our night in Cinderella's Castle (it's been 3 years since that trip, and I sometimes still can't believe it happened---it was absolutely magical! ), but I think every trip we've had since has been magical for it's own reasons as well. So I think maybe the best experience at WDW is the fact that every experience could qualify!

The best experiance at WDW was that rainy, windy, cool day back in 2000 when the wife agreed to do the DVC tour finally and she agreed to buy. I had been pushing for months to do that.

Too many WDW visits to count now that I live nearby part time, 1 DL trip & 3 Disney Cruises.

For me it was watching rope drop from inside MK during the KTTW tour. Particularly a young couple with 'first visit' badges running in and stopping, aghast when they saw the castle.

And later that same trip another young couple dancing along with a parade and her turning to her SO with tears in her eyes saying 'this place is amazing'.

This wasn't at WDW, but at DL. We got a free day & night in the Mickey Mouse penthouse suite at the Disneyland hotel. What an awesome suite. Told my daughter she had better enjoy it while we're here as it will be the one and only time she'll ever be in that room.

In 6 trips to the World, we've, never experienced anything that was truly earth-shattering, but there are so many little things that add up to making it our favorite vacation spot.

- my 11 month-old son being covered with kisses/lipstick from the stepsisters fighting over him at 1900 PF, and 4yoDD getting to dance with the prince at the ball

- DD getting selected to receive the rose from the prince at the end of the Beauty and the Beast show

- DD getting to participate in the Lion King show (the little parade at the end)

- the sheer amazement on DD's face (age 2 at the time) when the Playhouse Disney show started, and she found herself in the presence of Bear, Ojo, Tutter and Pip and Pop.

Sorry- I know you asked for one BEST, but I don't have one best - I have a ton of little things. Perhaps that earth-shattering best ever experience is yet to come.
