I hadn't looked at this thread in ages, but I'm so happy to see that both Stick and Sprig seem to be doing better! And I love the story of the Christmas quilt. Have a wonderful cruise!

Default Update on Stick and Sprig, June 2012

Hi All, Thought you might like to know that after having Stick for a whole year plus one month he is looking quite well again. The leaves are replenishing themselves and he's back to his ole self. Then there is Sprig. Remember the incident where Sprig almost died? DH planted what was left of the poor thing and look at Sprig now!

DH is doing a fine job with both plants. Phew, it was a rough winter but they pulled through. I wonder when other visitors at WDW purchase these type of plants how theirs are doing. We don't exactly have the best weather or the greatest place for plants in our home and yet they have thrived. It would be nice to see other Epcot seedlings growing...anyone else have photos of their shoots??

Boy, they are looking great!!! If I remember, my Stick lost its lower leaves every once in awhile, they turned yellow. Hopefully they'll both have a growth spurt this summer!!!

I am so glad Stick and Sprig are doing so well!

It has been almost a month since we brought our little green twig home and we are seeing some growth. Here is what it looks like...

Oh, geez. I'm so sorry and so glad I discovered this thread! Like Beansprout in her first post, I would have been "time to move along," but now I see how this will be so much fun for Jim, who loves all things green. He even manages to keep Poinsettias going for months or even years, sometimes.

We'll be at Flower & Garden next year, and we're driving, so we'll likely bring home one of Stick's cousins. I know Stick can travel on a plane. I don't have the patience for that, though.

Dirk
