Important note on the Epcot day with the "locals". They have annual passes and have been to WDW many many times. Granted they spend the majority of their time at MK but here is a true shocker...the had NEVER been on Soarin'...in fact she said "I always thought that boring boat ride was the only thing in that building so we haven't bothered walking up there in years". WOW...REALLY?????? I could not believe this...but we introduced them to Soarin' and they loved it and I'm sure will now take the time to walk up that hill.

That is nuts! They show commericals of new attractions on the local TV channels down there. How could they not know about it?

Day 8 - Rain, Rain, Go Away!

Well, today was supposed to be waterpark day because we always go back to our favorite park on the last day...BUT...the high today is only about 75 and it is supposed to rain most of the day. So we pack up the ponchos! And go to MK. WE have a good time, but not a great time. The kids don't seem to be big fans of playng in the rain like they are at home (maybe that's because they can't just run in and dry off whenever they want to).

So its a short day at the park, we go back to the room around 4:00 then spend some quality time Community Hall...

We have tacos in the room for dinner and watch Tower of Terror before going to bed.

Thanks for posting! I always enjoy seeing WDW from other's points of view! I am surprised about your cousin not riding Soarin' before, but maybe they are so inundated with Disney they tune stuff out...
