Default A little alligator info...

I live in coastal SC. We've got alligators everywhere including lounging around the drainage ponds in my neighborhood. My dog was barking at one on our walk last week.

If you leave them alone, they'll leave you alone. And, if you see anyone feeding them, report them immediately. Alligators become dangerous when they become too used to humans and when they are used to being fed by them. That said, unless an alligator is over 6 feet long ( in SC anyway ) they get left alone by the wildlife people. They're not considered a threat. If you call someone to "collect them up" and they actually do, they're probably driving them off and shooting them.

I actually feel bad for WDWs critters. Leave them alone, stay out of the brackish water, don't feed them, and let them live.

Thank you to everyone posting your replies, comments, suggestions and stories. I can only apologize that I haven't had the time to personally respond to each and every one of you they way my good friend DVC Mike does during his trip reports. I guess I'm just not that coordinated and organized.

Thanks again everybody.

Day 15

We headed over to Hollywood Studios for "rope drop" with good friends Pam and Tom. I, being the fastest "walker", beat it straight to the fast pass machines at Toy Story. The others quickly caught up and we were on the ride through the standby line in minutes. I am just not very coordinated with this game and can't seem to go beyond my 190,000 limit. Today it's 173,000.

Next, it's Rock n Roller Coaster for Tom and me. The girls plan to meet us at the exit to ToT.

I do my best to grab a photo off the monitor but they've done a good job of using the overhead spot lights to reflect off the monitors and prevent great shots.

On to the Tower of Terror, one of my favourites in all the parks.

Next, we head over to Star Tours. On the way, I snap this photo of the skyline.

No line here. We'll have to scurry so as not to miss the next departure.

26 days...you lucky bastard!

If your wife still has a cold, get her some oregano oil. Take 2 pills in the morning, 2 at night, till the cold disappears. Stuff works for me.

Is Publix usually more expensive than Whole Foods? I plan on going to Whole Foods to stock up while I'm there. Surely, it can't be more expensive than Disney restaurants, huh?

Very good to know. I would hate to think of any harm coming to him. I am a die hard animal lover and am always looking for wildlife at WDW, not that I see that much. Once in a while a snake or bunny or other routine creatures. I would have liked to have seen this guy myself. Thanks again for the info.
