It's one of those things we might think about and if the right movie came along and we were at WDW.

We rarely go to the movies anymore. It is just much too expensive. My 6 yr old cannot sit still. Not to mention I prefer my own couch, my own food and a pause button

Amadeus we will be there when Brave comes out also. I am hoping they will do something for APpassholers special for it. But, I am a new AP holder so I am not sure how that works, or how you hear about it. We are hoping they will do something special for the release. i am interested about seats too. DO you just buy tickets on line? How do you get the discounted ones and are there restrictions on new realeases.

ANy information would be great.

We are in the same boat. Trying to find out. They have not posted there schedule for that week in June. I am not sure that Brave will be showing at Downtown Disney. My plan is call DDisney AMC.

You really don't have to book things that far out. It's like your theatre at home. Quite frankly, I've never seen the theaters packed (though I suppose they are for premieres and on rain days).

Check AMC Downtown Disney for online bookings and Fork & Screen options (not every film has Fork & Screen):

http://www.amctheatres.com/movie-the...ne-in-theatres

If you book, be aware that the Fork & Screen entrance is on the exact opposite side of the building (closer to Paradise Island) than the standard entrance (closer to West Side).

We've been several times. The high back seats are very comfortable and it's hard to have your view blocked at all. And we get the DVC or AP discount.

One year when we were there for the Marathon, they were passing out tickets for guests to see a pre-screening of a new Disney movie, Miracle. So we got the tickets and went to see this hockey movie. We had to leave all cellphones outside (checked them with the staff, but this was before we even carried ours with us) and went into the movie. This became one of my favorite movies, along with the Greatest Game Ever Played (just saw that yesterday on the Golf Channel).

Voted ocasionally, have not gone yet but we will be going to see Brave next Monday during our trip that starts this Thursday. DD, DS and our 3 guests really want to experience a new Disney/Pixar movie while in WDW.

What is the DVC or AP discount?

Does the DVC discount apply to the Fork and Screen?

We have it on our perpetual "to do list" but never end up fitting it in. We have a fork and screen here in Atlanta and love going.
