Jason, the one we stayed at in Savannah had just been taken over by Holiday Inn Express and Suites, and they re-did the outside nicely, but did nothing inside. It was really in need of a major overhaul in the rooms and hallways. It's nice to find a brand new one if you can because at least you know it shouldn't be run-down.

When we used to drive to Myrtle Beach, we'd stop in Wilson, NC, and stay at the Country Inn & Suites. Brand new and it was spotless. Loved that place.

Need to find something like that on the way to WDW. I'd always go Hampton Inn if we didn't need the extra space, because almost every one of those I've stayed in have always been nice and clean. But a regular Holiday Inn, I'd have much more confidence in than a Express and Suites. They seem to be much lower quality than the regular Holiday Inn brand.

I hear you ... The wife and I were talking it over at dinner tonight and it sounds like it's a go. Need to plan it out tomorrow and it sounds like I need to spend some time finding a convenient hotel along the route.

Ok, I'm originally from PA so I naturally root for Philadelphia teams. I used to be a Phillies fan but the strike that cancelled the 94 post-season pushed me away from baseball and I haven't really looked back. I used to root for the Eagles until they hired Michael Vick. I like hockey, but moved south of the Mason Dixon line, so it's hard to catch outside the playoffs, and I haven't really been paying attention all season.

For the NCAA, I'm all for the University of Virginia since I'm a Charlottesville Townie now.

Not tooo shabby at all. Maybe Texas will rethink not offering him that contract extension. As someone with recovering alcoholics in the family, I think what he has been able to do, given the constant pressure, has been amazing.

What's your take on the Vilma's year long suspension? Does his salary still count against the CAP?

Jeff - Sorry about the Flyers! DW was PISSED last night. Told her she could root with me for the Rangers, but that didn't got over to well. At least the Sixers are playing well, tonight might be it for my Knicks.

Karl - how's that Trip Report coming .. you have a bunch of anxious people waiting for those Oasis pictures! Congrats on the Pacers win in round one.

Sean - UV, nice. Another reason to hate Vick I guess (I think he went to V. Tech right?)

Yeah, but if I went around hatin' on all the Hokies in my town there'd only be UVA grads and all the Yankee transplants like me. The dog thing is enough for me.
