Great List!! Thank you so much!

As a DVC Member I got an invite card to Preview Expedition Everest several months before it opened to the public. The AP and Cast Members got to also, BUT DVC members got to take 3 guests (every time we rode! I just grabbed a few curious strangers and dragged them along)
Any other DVC folks get to do this??

Wow. That's quite a good number of discounts!

It definitely can take some value away from TiW or DDP, depending on one's dining habits

sometimes i opt to leave my dvc member card in my room, or at home and just write my number down on a perks book, or whatever else i am shopping with for that day.
i have not had any trouble with this. i do carry my photo id though so they wont think that it is someone pretending to be me or something.

i have too many things in my wallet sometimes and also worry about losing my card. so i leave it put up and safe.

We went to DL for a day a few weeks back. I forgot to bring my DVC member card, but since we were staying on points, it printed "DVC Member" on our room key. Most of the places took that as proof. I called DVC from in the park though, just in case, and they were no help at all. I'll always take our DVC card from now on.

I use one of those WaterProof card holders ( just got a new one at AKV) and I keep My DL,DisVisa,KTTK,DVC, ParkTicket and $20 in it as well as Fastpasses collected during the day.

It works great and no need to carry anything else the entire trip at WDW . After several days of spending I take my Visa Rewards card down and pay down my room charges . this has worked real well for me .

New Perks booklet also has DTD - Ridemakerz 10%

I searched the thread but didn't see a reference to the discounts for the Halloween party. We went last year and it was awesome!

Magic Kingdom Park
For just $49.95 plus tax for adults and $43.95 plus tax for kids (ages 3 to 9), Members may purchase up to 6 discount tickets on the following 2011 party dates:

September: 13, 16, 20, 23, 27 and 30

For just $52.95 plus tax for adults and $47.95 plus tax for kids (ages 3 to 9), Members may purchase up to 6 discount tickets on the following 2011 party dates:

October: 2, 6, 10, 11, 16, 18, 20, 23 and 25

Disneyland Park
For just $44 plus tax per ticket, Members may purchase up to 8 discount tickets for the following 2011 party dates:

September: 30
October: 3, 11, 18, 25
