Great TR Jay! Great pics, and that place looks so nice. Good chance we're going there next year, and very well could try a 1 Bedroom to save some points.

You crack me up. First picture has 10 empty beer bottles! Kim and I bought a 6-pack and barely got through it in 4 nights! Yes, pathetic, I know.

Glad you guys loved the place and had such a good time. Did you get a keg for the other 3 nights?

Jay,

Just wondering....did you like the order of your trip? I was thinking of staying at Vero after the craziness of WDW, never really considered doing it first.

Sorry for not working on the TR lately. Every time I try to continue something comes up. Spent Sat. night alone with the wife to celebrate our anniversary, went to a Wedding on Sunday, Devils are up 3-1 over the Flyers, Robinson Cano hits a grand slam, etc.

Great pictures, beautiful girls. We bought our beach chairs at the CVS. We were only there for three days but still worth the few dollars. We did pass them on to another guest checking in.

So the ocean was warm enough to swim this time? Looking forward to more and thank you for taking the time and sharing it all with us.
Thanks Anna. The ocean temps were great in April and the weather was just perfect. I was in and out of the ocean the whole time without feeling chilly at all.

Thanks DJO. You will have a great trip in Nov. Hopefully the weather will be the same as it was during our trip.

We were very thirsty the first night and managed to put down a 12 pack before calling it a night. On trips like this (and Disney) it is not uncommon for me to consume 8-10 beers day 1. I usually slow down after the first day and pick it back up the last day.

We went through 2 cases of beer in 5 days on our last trip to BLT (I was with a college buddy of mine and we were doing some catching up, back in college we would have needed 5 cases for 5 days).

The 1 bedrooms are huge and will accommodate a family of 5 easily. There is a sleeper sofa with a queen sized pull out and a pull out chair in the living room. No second bathroom though...

The reason we went to Vero first was we figured if we went to Disney World first with our 3 and 5 year old kids, they would not want to leave. Also, we did not tell them about the Disney World part so they were not asking to leave for the world every minute of the trip.

I really liked going to Vero first for it gave me a chance to unwind some before dealing with the craziness that can be Disney World. It also gave us something to still look forward to if we didn't like Vero (we know we love Disney so we knew our vacation would end on a high note even if Vero was a disappointment). We will continue to visit Vero Beach this way if we ever do a split stay in the future.
