go online to book your xpasses for the rides you want in advance. I assume you would have to put your info in for your reservation to ensure "not just anyone" can book up all the xpasses. So, do you think people who rent DVC points will be allowed to use the xpass online site?

Well you are really just a Guess of the DVC owner in DVCs eyes so I would think yes as long as it's not a Member perk you should be good. Now this might mean you giving the info to the owner . I would think they will just phase this in with the 10day on-line check-in and I'm not sure who does that the renter or rentee.

What's an XPass and does it cost anything? I go in 3 weeks and stay for 2 weeks on 3 different reservation #s.

XPass has not been released yet,,,it not even 100% confiremd yet...so no need to worry about it for your trip

I suspect it will run and monitored by those that handle on-site resort reservations. So unless they purposely exclude DVC, I suspect we'll be inlcuded.

On the other hand, if I was a person that stayed off-site on a regular basis, I would be a tad bit concerned about the quality of future vacations to WDW. This will likely have a bigger impact than just not being able to supposedly take part in EMH or other on-site guest only perks.

I would be very surprised if DVC members get any special consideration for XPass. We will get whatever other Disney Resort guests get.

Wow, I had never heard of this. I guess you will really have to be on a schedule for your whole vacation. I'm not sure how that will play out. Plus you would have to do some really good planning well in advance to do everything you want to do. If you plan a last minute trip, you might be in trouble since things might be all sold out already. Very interesting!
