My bf and I collect vinylmation and I'm so excited to get a special DVC one! We're new owners and so I'm glad I can get a special vinyl for that!

Well I am an outsider on this one. I loved it!!! We dont collect this kind of stuff either but I would grab one to put on my desk. I liked it.

These things are completely lost on me. I'm assuming they are collectible? I don't really see the appeal.

I do not have any vinylmation, as don't really collect anything (outside of DVC points). That being said, some of them are clever enough to give me a chuckle -- e.g. the Fozzie Bear and other muppet versions. This one is a bit creepy looking.

I like MikeandTodd's idea of resort specific versions. Please bring back the resort specific merchandise. I'm thinking like the character totem pole in the WL lobby -- that would hook me. But I'll pass on the generic DVC logo.

I know they sometimes do sell the large ones. They did one for the grand opening of D-Street in CA and it was 5K.

the first yr I saw them I thought how dorky. then the following yr I decided let's get one. Man they almost are as bad as pins. Can't help but buy. DD is really into them (as a toy not a collectible). I bought a few for her & a few for myself. Well she has taken them over. I'm sure the addiction will continue when we are there next month. I think they kinda draw you in since you don't know what one you will get. DD of course had a certain one she wanted & never got it. So they draw you into purchasing more since you don't pick which one you want.

I should say there is one DD didn't get ahold of. I bought one from last fall/Halloween taht was in a tin & never opened it. That one will stay out of DD's sight. I'm keeping it as is.
